So Has Anybody Made This Mets/Nets Connection Yet?

My Attempt To #FixTheScoreBug

There's been a lot of talk on Twitter about SNY's confusing scorebug.  The main issue seems to be the inning number in the middle of the score.  I decided to fire up Photoshop and take a crack at it.  The first image is the actual scorebug, the second image is how I would express the same info. What do you think?

MurphTracker 2012 Update: Murph Goes Cowboy

Mets Cowboy Costume Fun Ends In Disaster

The Mets decided to have a little fun last night and fly to Houston dressed as cowboys.  It seemed like a great idea...until this happened.
Oh Ruben!
The team has decided that in the future, Tejada will have to clear all costumes with the group first.

Lil Murph's Diary: Jose's Return and Two Guys Named Stanton?

Dear Diary,

Well it's been a weird couple of days here in Mets-land so I figured I would catch you up on what's happening.

Would Ridiculous Facial Hair Work For Other Mets Like It Did For Dillon Gee? Lets Find Out...

When Dillon Gee showed up to Spring Training this year with a small woodland creature on his chin, many fans and teammates laughed.  After his hot start on the mound though no one is laughing anymore. But is there any direct correlation between the new beard and the improved pitching? Does it matter?  Of course it doesn't matter, this is New York, where logic and reason have no place in sports discussion.  So with that being said I pose the question, would other Mets players be improved with ridiculous facial hair?  Lets take a look.

Mets Surprise Fans On Opening Day With New Parking Meters

While much has been made about the changes to the dimensions of Citi Field, fans arriving at Citi Field this morning were more interested in talking about a change in the parking lot.  After paying the $20 to enter the parking lot, fans were greeted by parking meters at each individual space. The meters, which cost 25 cents for each 15 minutes, are part of a slew of additional revenue generating efforts by the Mets.

A spokesman for the Mets explained the move.

Mets Ike Davis Stars In Fantasy Baseball Song Parody

Check out this hilarious fantasy baseball song parody by the NOC. Set to "Should I Stay or Should I Go?" by The Clash. A fantasy baseball owner obsesses over which players he should pick for his team. At one point he even turns to our bearded first baseman for advice.

Is It Just Me, Or Does SNY Seem To Be A Little Down On The Mets This Year?

Check out the poster the network has been putting up at bus stops and subway stations around NYC...
