Mets Host Breast Cancer Awareness Night Tonight At Citi Field

Tonight the Mets will host Breast Cancer Awareness Night when they host the Philadelphia Phillies at 7:10 p.m. Citi Field.  Special $5 tickets are available at Mets.com/BCA.

The first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a pink compact mirror presented by Delta Air Lines.  In addition, the Delta SKY360 Club will turn pink for the night.  Delta flight attendants will be dressed in pink, pink and white cookies will be distributed to fans in the club and pink balloons will be spread throughout the space.

1-800-FLOWERS.COM will pass out pink carnations on the Field Level at the top of the Jackie Robinson Rotunda to breast cancer survivors and friends and family of those who battled the disease.  The company will also provide pink flowers to the 500 survivors and supporters who will be honored during a special pre-game presentation.

Mets staff at Citi Field will also wear pink ribbons to raise awareness about the disease and the club encourages fans coming to the ballpark to join them in wearing pink.

North Shore-LIJ Health System will distribute breast health facts at its Health Information Team space on the Field Level in the rightfield corner.  North-Shore-LIJ operates the space along with the Katz Institute for Women’s Health and Katz Women’s Hospital.

Fans can participate in a charity corn hole toss game hosted by Gulf on Mets Plaza to raise funds for the ACS “Making Strides Program.”
