The winners of the R.A. Dickey Fan Appreciation Contest are:
1st Place: Kyle Paul for A Butterfly Against The Wind & Music Video by Kyle Paul.
2nd Place: Hey Dickey! by Tom Kosmic
3rd Place: All Star by Ed Leyro
Tom and Ed will receive a copy of the 50 Greatest Mets DVD while Kyle will receive a Mets 50th Anniversary DVD collection. All prizes are courtesy of A+E Home Entertainment/MLB Productions.
Thanks to everyone who contributed. You guys were R.A. Diculous!
Note: As you probably noticed, I pulled voting down a few hours early. This was because I was starting to see some strange voting traffic coming in. (People using proxy servers to vote multiple times and such.) While I had no problem with people taking to social media to lobby for votes, the proxy stuff is not cool and can possibly cause issues with advertisers on the site. In the end I used the vote totals in conjunction with my own judging and fan reaction on social media to decide the winners.
