Mets Admit Johan Graphic Was Premeditated, Reveal Graphics For Future No Hitters
Posted by
Randy Medina
Of all of the secondary stories surrounding Johan Santana's historic no-hitter, the quick work of the Citi Field graphics department has captured the imaginations of many in the Mets online community. Did they have that No-Han graphic prepared before the game? Did they make it during the game? If so, when did they start working on it? Admittedly, I was just as curious as everyone else so I contacted the Mets graphics department and they spilled the beans.

Would Ridiculous Facial Hair Work For Other Mets Like It Did For Dillon Gee? Lets Find Out...

When Dillon Gee showed up to Spring Training this year with a small woodland creature on his chin, many fans and teammates laughed. After his hot start on the mound though no one is laughing anymore. But is there any direct correlation between the new beard and the improved pitching? Does it matter? Of course it doesn't matter, this is New York, where logic and reason have no place in sports discussion. So with that being said I pose the question, would other Mets players be improved with ridiculous facial hair? Lets take a look.

There is nothing wrong with your television sets Mets fans, do not attempt to adjust your picture. Major League Baseball is controlling the transmission and the next time you see Dillon Gee, your picture will look a little different. After being made aware of the many dirty jokes going around about the Mets pitcher's facial fiasco, the MLB has decided not to take any chances and will pixelate the pitcher's beard during all future broadcasts.

Mets Bullpen Planning To Take A Half Day On Wednesday
Posted by
Randy Medina
Dillon Gee has been pitching lights out for the Mets. Not only is the team winning when he pitches but the bullpen usually is only needed at the very end of the game to tidy up and pick up a save.
We've learned that the members of the bullpen have informed manager Terry Collins that when Gee next starts, Wednesday night in Atlanta, they plan to show up a bit late to the ballpark.

Welcome Aboard Justin Turner & Dillon Gee
Posted by

Even though David Wright and Ike are on the shelf for a while, the Mets train must continue to roll. So welcome Justin Turner and Dillon Gee to the train. No some of you out there believe the train is cursed because the minute Ike got on board he got stepped on by a clumsy third baseman and ended up on the DL.
So here's the deal. If either Gee or Turner get hurt this week. I'll replace all the guys on the train with 5 pictures of Willie Harris.
