Jose Reyes Orders A Turkey Sandwich: Could This Be The End?

Breaking news from the Mets hot stove, The Apple has learned that Free Agent SS Jose Reyes ordered a Turkey Club at lunch today.  While we cannot confirm that this means Reyes is leaving the Mets it certainly doesn't look good.  To help us break down this breaking news we bring in SNY's Sandwich Expert Ted Berg.

Jose Reyes Is A Volcano Taco, Ruben Tejada is Lava Sauce & Other Things I've Learned From Ted Berg

Are you like me? Have you always wondered what item on the Taco Bell menu is most comparable to Jose Reyes?  Of course you have.  Thankfully, SNY's Ted Berg took some time to answer my question on The Baseball Show this week.  Ted solves the Reyes/Taco mystery at the 1:29 mark below:

Now I know what you're thinking, is this the beginning of an SNY/The Apple comedy team. The answer is no. SNY is still refusing to hire me. They say it's mostly because it would violate the restraining order Ted Berg filed against me.

Non-Fiction Post Of The Week: Selfish Beltran Selfishly Helping Team

Randy are you seriously linking another Ted Berg article?  Are you on drugs?  Well guys, I am on a drug... and that drug is Ted Berg.  The guy just wins.  Today he wins by doing something too few members of the NY sports media ever do...using common sense.  For his rational take on the Mets new right fielder read Beltran selfishly punishing Digital Domain scoreboard

Non-Fiction Post Of The Week: Terry Collins Talks Bullpen, Ted Berg Talks Optimism

Ted Berg over at TedQuarters posted this clip of Terry Collins talking about using his closer and bullpen:

Is it just me or does it feel both refreshing and weird to hear things that make sense coming out of the mouth of a Mets manager.  I think to help ease the transition for Mets fans Terry should throw in more "uuuuuuuhhhhh's" and nervous laughter until we get used to him.  At the very least why not suggest Reyes should bat 3rd.

Metsblog Annexes The Apple In Hostile Takeover

Unlimited Power!!!
If you are reading this than you are my last hope.  Moments ago, Metsblog's Matt Cerrone and his lieutenants Ted Berg and Michael Baron blasted their way into the offices of The Apple and have claimed ownership over my website.  I am currently barricaded in a small room and am typing this from under a desk.

Link: Ted Berg's Hilarious Review Of Tron: Legacy

Besides giving me an excuse to break out this graphic, Ted Berg also gives us a hilarious write up on Tron: Legacy and some interesting insight into seeing movies by yourself.  I almost spit my drink all over my computer when I read this line:
"The plot is that the Bad Guy has captured the Old Guy and now the Cool Guy has to recsue him, with or without help from the David Bowie Guy. Some of them aren’t actually people and most of them are Jeff Bridges."
Read the rest over at TedQuarters.
