Using advanced ticket tracking technology, the Mets have announced a fan rewards/punishment system for ticket holders from Wednesday night's synchronized swimming match against the Nats. Apparently the Mets ability to collect fan data has become so advanced that the team was able to create a convoluted make up system for ticket holders.
Under the system, fans who stayed for the whole game are rewarded with 1 ticket to the May 30th game. Fans who attended but left early are punished slightly with 2 tickets to the May 30th game. And it goes on like this. If you had tickets but watched on TV instead...10 tickets. Watched on TV and flipped? 15 tickets. Didn't watch the game? 30 tickets.
Which brings us to Howard Cooper of Great Neck who didn't use his ticket, stayed home and watched the Yankees game on TV. Tomorrow he will receive a FedEx package containing 150 tickets to the Mets/Pirates game on May 30th.
