If you're already planning to attend the Mets home opener on April 8th, why not join The Apple and help us ring in the new season and celebrate our 1 year anniversary. From 12 - 3PM The Apple will have it's AMAZING TAILGATING SETUP (i.e. a folding table and portable grill) set up in the Citi Field parking lot.
Entertainment will be provided by a small boombox playing whatever CD I grab that morning. There will be a limited supply of burgers, hot dogs and adult beverages but if you wanna bring your own meat our executive chef (i.e. me in Mets apron) will be happy to cook it up for ya.
Click over to our facebook events page for more info and map to help you find us. We'll also have a big-ass banner courtesy of buildasign.com so we should be somewhat easy to spot. I hope to see some of you there.
