I really thought we were done with the hat issue. For better or worse, Major League Baseball made a choice based on their rules and we had to accept it. But then we got this from ESPN's Buster Olney via Twitter:

Fight The Real Enemy

I kid of course and considering everything else that went on yesterday, hats are a tiny issue. With that said, if the players really wanted to wear first responder hats as they said they did then Joe Torre and the MLB should have just let them wear the hats. And with that we move on.
