In an attempt to boost his image among younger Mets fans, the team's owner Fred Wilpon released a music video version of his recent press conference. Accompanied by the band One Republic, Wilpon makes his case and attempts to squash rumors of his financial troubles.
While rumors have stated that Wilpon is going broke, he must have some money lying around because an agent for One Republic told The Apple that the band was "well compensated" for their appearance.
Fortunately, The Apple has gained an advance copy of the video, scheduled to begin running on MTV this Friday. Enjoy!
