The R.A. Dickey Fan Appreciation Contest: Praise Dickey, Win Mets Prizes

Dickey's done it! Mets pitcher R.A. Dickey became the first Mets pitcher in 22 years to win 20 games on Thursday and Mets fans are pumped up. Here's your chance to turn all that passion into some cool Mets prizes.

The Apple has teamed up with A+E Networks Home Entertainment/MLB Productions to bring you the R.A. Dickey Fan Appreciation Contest.

To enter, all you have to do is show us what you think of R.A. Dickey's amazin' achievement. But you have to be creative. This can be a funny Photoshopped photo of Dickey, a drawing, a poem, a song or anything else that shows how you feel about the Mets newest 20 game winner.  All entries must be sent to readtheapple@gmail.com by 11:59PM on Thursday October 4th, 2012.

On Friday, I'll post the top 5 entries for you to vote on. The top vote getter will receive a copy of the New York Mets 50th Anniversary Collectors Edition DVD set.  Two runners up will each receive a copy of the New York Mets 50 Greatest Players DVD.  All prizes provided by A+E Networks Home Entertainment/MLB Productions.
