This Day In Mets History: 1621 - R.A. Dickey Creates The First Thanksgiving

On this day in 1621 R.A. Dickey brokered an uneasy peace between the Pilgrims and Native Americans.  Though this peace would not last, many of the traditions celebrated at "The Great Dickey Feast" continue today. The holiday would later come to be known as "Thanksgiving".
